Fair Trade

We use Fairtrade coffee beans at LCB because we like good coffee, and we believe farmers should be paid for all their hard work. Coming from a farming family may also have something to do with it, and we know what it's like to run a business, so we thought we'd support something that gives back to the farmers who work so hard to bring us the coffee we can't live without.

International trade has traditionally discriminated against farmers in developing nations and Fairtrade works hard to change that. Through educating farmers and workers in matters of business and in farming techniques, Fairtrade helps improve the quality of life for them and their families.

Buying fairtrade is our way of helping support farmers and improve their working conditions all over the world. You may hear that you'll pay more when buying fairtrade, but we don't charge high prices for our coffee. It's a win win, delicious coffee, fair price all around.

In addition to having fairtrade coffee, we looking into doing our next line of clothing on Fairtrade Organic cotton. Every little bit right?
